On behalf of the staff, Board and administration of the Southeast Missouri Network Against Sexual Violence (SEMO-NASV) we are proud to announce our new name Beacon Health Center.
Since our inception in 1997, we have always operated as the Southeast Missouri Network Against Sexual Violence. We initially provided medical forensics and forensic interviews to area victims of sexual violence. As the agency has grown over the last 14 years, our services expanded to advocacy, prevention education, and counseling. We have worked hard to meet the ever changing and growing needs of our clients. From our humble beginnings with donated space in Cape Girardeau, we now have offices in Perryville and Benton as well.
We are excited that Beacon Health Center will reflect the diversity of care we now offer besides medical forensics. From the beginning the staff of Beacon Health Center continues to be a place for people to have hope and healing. With the new name change that is more customer friendly and positive this will help Beacon Health Center continue to provide the upmost care to our clients.
Thank you for all your support throughout the years and look forward to your support in the future!
Tammy Bea Gwaltney, MSW,CSWM
President/CEO
