Nurse Practitioners Become Certified Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners!

Nurse Practitioners, Kathy Blevins and Debbie De La Cruz, have recently passed the International Certification as Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners (SANE). Kathy Blevins provides contract work for the Southeast Missouri Network Against Sexual Violence (SEMO NASV) for forensic evaluations of adult and child victims of sexual violence and has received certification as a pediatric, adolescent and adult SANE nurse. Debbie De La Cruz works for SEMO NASV providing forensic evaluations for adult and child victims of sexual violence and received certification as an adult SANE nurse. This international certification distinguishes these nurses as highly specialized in their work with victims.
